Creating and Editing a Video Asset

This how-to guide will walk you through the steps to add streamable videos to your content library on LabXchange.

1. Click the My content link to go your dashboard, then select Add new content from the My content section.

2. Select the video content type.
   

   

3. Enter the title, video URL, and other details for the video content you are adding. Compulsory fields are marked with an asterisk. (*)
   

   Don't have the video URL? Refer to YouTube's article on copying a video link, or Vimeo's article on direct links to video files.

4. If you would like to include a transcript, select the appropriate language and click the "Upload transcript" link to select an SRT file. Note that this is not required in order to save your video. 

5. Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Notice, then save your changes.

Your video content has been created and is now ready to share on LabXchange.
